Hastelloy B-2 is a Nickel base wrought alloy with
excellent resistance to
hydrochloric acid at all concentrations and temperatures.
B-2 also
withstands hydrogen chloride, sulphuric, hydrofluoric,
acetic and reagent grade phosphoric acids. This alloy also
has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and to
knife line and heat affected zone attack.
Hastelloy B-2 is not recommended in the presence of ferric
or cupric salts.
